The Chrysler Hemi when released in 1966 for the street was a monster since day one. Ok a handful with regular maintenance and day to day driving. But you floor it and all 8 Barrels open up you forget all about that. Not to mention it was just a real big heavy motor. And well not all Hemi equipped cars were as light as the Cuda or Challenger. The HEMI changed the game in NHRA and in NASCAR and is still in use today.
