My 1976 Trans Am
My 1976 Trans Am

Before anyone says anything, I am fully aware that is a 77 nose and the interior is from a 78. All I cared about was that it is a 400 4-speed that is all I really wanted. I will change it back to the single headlight and 76-77 interior one day I actually like that interior better. I had 2 1978s and I hated that the plastic door grab handle would always break off.

I got lucky as all hell because I bought is sight unseen, hell when he pulled up with the car on the trailer I just could not wait it looked so good. But when he went to start it well it didn’t start, then when I finally got it running barely it was over carburating the gas was just flowing through the top at idle. So his claim that I just had it running and it didn’t do that was shot to hell. But I didn’t care I wanted this car and I got it.

Did I sorta kinda get ripped off and paid a little more than I should, well he got me but its nothing I can’t fix nor wasn’t expecting. I previous owner knew absolutely positively nothing about cars and that’s fine it wouldn’t be the first time I took one for the team. But this is my fifth Trans Am and I finally got what I wanted.
